Your first thread was asking for people to buy items, I have 75 posts and would not feel it appropriate for me to do.

Well then, based on your opinion, how many posts should I have before I sell stuff?

I can't say for two reasons.  One, I haven't reached that point yet so how can I have an opinion and (more importantly) its up to those that run this site.

I think people thought it was just like being rung up by a sales person out of the blue and being asked for money, it's a lot easier for people to part with money once they get to know a person a bit better. Start a thread in the New Members forum and introduce yourself and what you do (Scouts wasn't it?) so people don't think they are buying from a faceless name :)

note to self type faster! you'd started a thread already :D
