Very nice LC  :like:

The ST300 seems to have a bit more cutting edge  :tu:  Not sure which shape I would prefer. I hope I can do that comparison myself soon.

Did you know that the cutting edge on the OG ST and ST200 is not really longer than on the PST?
That is interesting!

And yes, my experience has maintained that the ST300 serrated blade is awl business.

I have not needed the ST200 in action since I only acquired last summer.

The Surge’s serrated is very hardy, a deeper blade, but the Surge does not have my confidence for its overall tool reliability with bits.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Good to hear!   :tu:
I'm using the LM bits a lot with the Surge. The blade exchanger too. I have no complaints, it's a solid piece of kit.
But the bits and extender and all need to be stored somewhere. And it can become a little finicky in some situations.

When I started my 2nd career, working construction, installing parking control equipment, and maintaining equipment in established parking facilities, it was not unusual to find yourself a few floors or 100 yards from my truck with my tools.

The ST300 was always on my belt, then sometimes a Rebar.  A good Phillips, multiple sizes of flat blades are built end on these tools which provided me the ability to access cabinets, tighten connectors, repair damaged wires and reconnect, time and time again.

Twice with the Surge, (which I acquired after monitoring a challenge), I found the bit, was missing, or the flat blade not narrow enough, the Phillips could not get enough of a bite on a rusted screw head.  Plus the Surge is heavier as it felt on my belt.  I had similar experiences with a WAVE as well. (Missing the bit)
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

 :iagree:

I Carry the ST300 for work most of the time or the Rebar. My Surge is a great tool but I much prefer the ST300  :tu:

Thanks Steve :hatsoff: and great pic :like: :like:

I do :like: the SURGE but prefer the ST300 over it :salute:

I find myself carrying a Charge most of the time these days  though but need to get a ST300 out and carry for work for a while

I was busy on STS, and gone from my home all day.  So this morning a tad tardy I had my ST300 join me for coffee as I reviewed the brackets for this afternoon girls State Finals.
