A golf course survey is usually about 300 ft and we snap about 1000 pictures that we then knit together. So the cliff is a single shot but the larger images are dozens or hundreds of shots.

We usually are within about a mile range but the whole mission is preprogrammed so the drone does all the work. We just instruct it to go and then monitor telemetry.

Dmack, those are some more amazing shots.  How high is this thing flying?  Whats the range that it can fly from you before you loose the ability to control it?

In my vid, I think it was up around 90 meters.  I flew it close to 500 meters out, and had no connection problems.  I haven't really tried a range test with it yet.
