Juice C2 Corkscrew sturdy?
on: September 05, 2008, 01:39:37 PM
Hi everyone,
When opening a wine bottle with the corkscrew and assist of the Leatherman C2 Juice I was not supporting the assist from the side quite enough and the corkscrew bent sideways.
I bent it back but  I now notice side to side freeplay of the corkscrew on its rivet.
Is there supposed to be  lots of wiggle there?
Have any of you had problems with the sturdiness of the corkscrew + assist on the Juice series?
How do you find it compared to a Swiss Army Knife corkscrew?

Afraid I'm not much help here Shalom as I've never used the corkscrew. Can say though that there isn't much slop at all in the pivot area on mine. Maybe you can try whacking the rivet to snug things back up a bit?
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
