I must take an up to date pic but this is a glass top coffe table I made.
The hard part is deciding which ones to leave in a box.

These collections are really awesome to see. Great stuff!

Can I ask briefly about humidity, it gets humid in the summers here in Oregon. Most of my blades and tools and so forth are going to be rust resistant and the like. But how can I go beyond that to ensure proper storage (not display), with tools that I am storing at the moment. Simple ziploc bag to prevent moisture?

Thanks

I guess you could keep them in ziplocks with desiccant packs

Damn, now I have to buy a new pair of shoes first? ;)

Good idea, I had thought this too, jut couldn't think of the word dissecant packs! Was gonna say, little dryer out thingys... ;)

Was asking because I didn't want to do something I thought was protecting them and I end up making an adverse effect.

There was an old man from Nantucket
Who kept all his SAKs in a bucket.
His daughter named Nan
Ran off with a man.
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

Really nice examples here how to store SAKs.
But where are the really big collections with more than 10000 pieces?

Come on, you big collectors, shows what you have

Nice, but with that draw depth you can make 2 or 3 levels and take out the trays to store the rest of them below..  :pok: :tu:

Not a very clear picture, I know, but I don't have the designing software so I can't make an image-file myself :)

Nice!  Like the triangular shelves.  Is the rusted metal back panel what you'll actually be getting, or just an example?

It's a sticker actually. A little experiment, i'm curious to see how this turns out on the real thing, those 3D renders can sometimes be a bit deceiving :)

 :pok:

Some European collectors may have 10,000+ SAKs, but doubt that anyone in North America does. Have heard rumors of several collectors specializing in Vic advertising Classics with collections running in the 5,000 - 6,000 range, but never able to confirm it.
