I've been in mourning the last two weeks over my Swiss Champ. Two weeks ago at work I was pulling the Swiss champ out of my front pocket and I dropped it from my pocket to the ground. From that short of a fall the liner between the flathead opener and the scale dented in so bad I can't fully open the flathead.  I was devastated when this happened. My beloved Swiss champ has been retired until I can put money aside for a new one. Until then I've been switching EDC's between the Pioneer X and my Ruby Deluxe Tinker.

My favorite one, a replica of the one I carried for years, vtg. '91-'94. Got my original in '92, now partially disassembled waiting for a refit. This one is a user, but with the Spirit in the same kit and the Pioneer X in my pocket all the time, mostly the scale tools see any regular use now. I really prefer the clean look of the earlier pliers and the old mag. glass, but it might just be because that's how I remember them when I got my first one. The SC is also the only pocket knife I ever carried to inspire blasphemous comments!  :D

It's a butchered HPI BMW 2002 Turbo body bodged onto a Tamiya Brat chassis. It's inspired by this:
