Very cool find!Sorry , I know nothing about it , except ....... I have been hunting for a 76 (birth year) forever to no avail!
I got this Wenger 76 soldier recently for relatively cheap as far as both soldiers and alox go, I was kicking around rotating it as a user. It wasn't something I picked up on the listing pictures but when I got it out in the light I noticed a defined double WK on the back scale on the open rivet end, a definite misstamp. Is something like this common? Cool nonetheless. I know misstrikings on coins are sought-after. I have seen multiple WKs on older fiber scaled soldiers. The picture doesn't quite do it justice.
Has anyone seen this on an alox soldier
