I play acoustic guitar, electric bass, ukulele, mandolin and harmonica. Primarily guitar and bass, though. These are my babies. Now who's the drummer in the house?Nice guitars. Started to play guitar years ago but never succeeded. Know most of the notes but the fingers didn't play along. No drummer yet, though I have 2 toddlers, so who knows what they'll get into!It took me a long time to get to a point where I'd even consider myself "decent." For me, the hardest part was strumming. Doing anything beyond simple up-down-up strums took a lot of practice. Bass has always been a little more natural for me, and in group settings, that's what I prefer to play. Not nearly as much fun by yourself though, so that's how I ended up getting into guitar. Will get back into it one day. I do play the harmonica when I'm on the spirits

Dogs are GREAT. (Love all animals)Due to the type of work I do, it would be selfish to get a dog and not take proper care of it. Only at home few days every 2nd week. We do have a Beagle. What a smart dog. But that is the kids little love affair. Would like to get a Alsatian one day.

That dog looks great and "awake"
There are few things I enjoy as much as reading. Currently I'm about halfway through this very entertaining fantasy novel;(Image removed from quote.)
My other passion is bicycles. I will have to find a picture of my bike.

How far through are you? I can recommend the follow ons. Who is your favourite character so far?

How far through are you? I can recommend the follow ons. Who is your favourite character so far?I don't want to drop too many spoilers for members who haven't yet read this one, so I'll keep it vague.I've just reached the point where Logen is arriving at the big city. As for a favorite character, it's pretty much a coin toss between Logen and Glokta so far. Their unique perspectives on things are very interesting, and none of the chapters focusing on either of them have missed a beat in terms of pacing or even humor. I have to say I'm impressed with Abercrombie's writing. This is very impressive for a freshman effort, easily on par with some of the best fantasy I've read. I'm looking forward to reading the whole trilogy.
Fly fishing and bonsai.Learned both in a real-world vacuum fueled by Internet forums......Come Spring I'm selling all the trees that made it except 2, I've lost more good established trees thanks to the drought than I lost starter trees right at the beginning......and that bites. The drought and development means I can't afford most of the few fishing venues within reach. While the trees die and the fishing tackle gather dust I'll just be making knives.......

They're hardy and easy to maintain, plus they make a very cool looking bonsai.
Nice bikes hiraethus! We (SWMBO and I) picked up a couple of KTM mountain bikes a couple of years ago, but we haven't been out on them in 2016
Well it's finally done. Would you guys believe that there are more BMW Rs models in the states than in Europe.!!More parts availability over there than any other place in the world. Not even Germany! Time for a new project.
