Tried the golf thing once! The bar was at the entrance where we had to pay. Never got to swing a club.
You should try it again sometime.. Alot more fun than I thought it would be when a friend conned me into going a few months ago. I have always been an athlete so that may have helped me pick it up quickly

Well it's finally done.
Would you guys believe that there are more BMW Rs models in the states than in Europe.!!
More parts availability over there than any other place in the world. Not even Germany!
Time for a new project.
Beautiful bike! I have been working on my Suzuki GSX 750e. Love riding bikes. My other passions are bushcrafting, camping and hunting. Anything outside really. Also love playing the Drums and Harmonica.

Should give it a go again. But to be honest, I'm not really a golf person.

Aaaaaaa.
Suzuki. Best bulletproof engine ever built in the 70's and 80's. Had the gsx1100g,ef and 1000g, kattana and later slingshot, srad and others in between. Best bikes ever in my opinion.
And we almost got a multitool band. Found the drummer guys!!!!

Don't know much about drums but sound good to me.

I got a few harmonicas. And old vintage Honner or three little brothers???? Have to dig them out. Maybe someone can give me a bit of info!

I play drums too. Seems like a good idea to put two drums on stage

I collect pressed pennies. I once traveled extensively for work and i would get a pressed penny souvenir from all sorts of places. NYC, Chicago, Disney, Universal, to the little corners of the backwoods Appalachian mountains to small city tourist attactions.  Cost is 2 quarters and you supply your own penny. I always use pre 1982 pennies as they are more copper than zinc and press better IMO.

Send me a penny and I will press you one in Australia in my press.  No guarantee how it will look like

I absolutely prefer to play bass in a band. So unless someone else has taken that spot, I call it! I suck at lead guitar anyway

Awesome! I started doing the same when my first daughter was born. Not too many, Sacramento, Memphis, museums and zoos. Super fun and a cheap souvenir. I also do the pre 1982 thing as well. I'm a former coin collector and a bit neurotic about it. Glad I'm not alone!

I really like that damasko in the lower left corner. I assume it's a full lume dial? I'd love to have one someday, but my money has other priorities right now

I have the full lume version of the momentum atlas as my EDC watch to hold me over.

I used to do pressed pennies but for whatever reason just stopped one day, really should start again.

I sort of have lost a lot of passion over this past year, I kayak and collect books.  But it is not quite the same without "my" river, or money and reasons to buy books.  Although I did just get a volume entitled The Sexual Revolution in Early America.

Next to my knives, tools and guns - I also love to smoke pipes. The taste is just great and I´m looking forward on some nice evenings when I can smoke a bowl.

I guess you know a very nice pipe store in Munchen then. Funny! The only time somebody tried to buy things with my credit card was from that store. Months after I bought some great blends from there, the bank called me and said that they found unusual consumer behavior from my side. That I bought a multi thousand Euros trip to some exotic destination, Fidji islands if I remember right. The transaction took place in Munchen. This store was the only place I used my card, I payed cash all over the rest of the trip. So, somebody (perhaps the beautiful young salesgirl, I couldn't suspect the respected old man in the fine suit, but you really never know people, even being a psychiatrist) took my card's credentials and tried to buy that trip.

Very nice thread!  :salute:

It was pleasure having a look at your other hobbies, guys :D

As I've mentioned in some other threads, apart from MTs & flashlights, I also like buying gold and silver coins when I have the chance (chance = cash, lol). A rather expensive hobby, I must say, but I consider it also an investment. I like wallets, too (a lot! :D).

I also like walking a lot. Whenever I have the chance and energy, I avoid using transportation and just walk, especially inside the city.

I have to walk. Not by choice. By force. And I like it.
Also tried collecting wallets but got into trouble.
