Recruit with the Spyderco Roadie! Love its sheepfoot blade and the astonishing ergonomics. Greeting a slipjoint fits it perfectly.

It is one of Spyderco's knives that are made in EU ()!

Yeah! It has a bladeshape that is very "non-scary" for people otherwise react to knives, but great is that you can pinch the blade at the detents furthest out and do very precise work.

It also has that goofy-cute, loveable look that makes you smile just feeling the texture of the handle when you rummage through your pocket trying to find your keys or what not. Rumor has it that it might come a small release of a version with handle in Ti this year sometime.

That Karambit looks wicked, too.

I never learned to use one, but they sure look like fun.

truth is, I don't know how to use a Karambit either. I just use it as a hawkbill and put my pinky through the hole, as if I were using the Byrd Crossbill or Spyderhawk pictured below   :salute:

(Image removed from quote.)

and I don't "train" with knives either, I'm afraid, but this one would be a wicked offensive or defensive tool in a trained man's hands   :ahhh

hahaha I'm not that stupid (yet), Nix.  :pok: I cut it over a paper napkin which was provided with it, then trashed the dirty greasy napkin, and didn't eat the doughnut (I hate those hydrogenated dirty.made pastries), just drank the coffee.   :salute:

The bakery was for my mom, now at home, who was craving for an unhealthy, non-hospital kind of food since she entered the hospital and this one was the one we could get faster and closer on our way home   ;)

I'll do, it's one of the few persons in the world around me that doesn't drive me bonkers or gets on my nerves. We get along very well, (unlike with most of my family) and I'm grateful to still have her and that she has no real health issues at her age, that gives me hope and brings me joy!   :salute:

we don't have any snow here... :But we have lots of veggies and crops!!
I just swapped some of the gear for this evening and the ZT will has done decently in cutting the veggies. Its thick grind mostly wedged them apart mid-cut but the sharpness was there to aid.

some nice homemade dessert (choco-Lacasito-cherry "turrón", as we call it here) was cut (well, broken  :D) to pieces too

Sick combo, wish lion steel would make that knife in wharncliffe, something akin to the Northwoods.

Did you make the scales to the SAK yourself? Looks great!
