well, here are some pictures

it is an All Wheel Drive, and I guess they need to make sure you do not forget it

good amount of storage area, and teh second row seats fold down too.

small storage area under the storage floor board

luckily, the $50 cargo net was already included

back seats have a small fold down arm rest with cup holders

gotta love the blind spot warning system built into the rear view mirror

the pictures I took of the in dash entertainment did not turn out well, but it has the Kia UVO system on a 7" screen

here is the android auto system info

If I can help, let me know

That is a very sweet ride you have there Detron!

And in MTO color too- if only the interior was olive....  >:D

Seriously, that is a great looking vehicle!

What was the mileage when you picked it up?  The odometer on my Jeep said 4kms when I took possession!  :D

Make sure they add 11 miles to your warranty!  :D

Looks like you went for all the bells and whistles! I didn't opt for the auto braking/cruise, mostly because I'd rather keep the several K in my pocket.  :P

I wanted the 7" infotainment system,  getting that is what added all those other items.

with the discount they gave me as a repeat customer, Kia Loyalty, Veteran, and a credit score of 830, they took a fair amount off of the price.

That's pretty good. In my case I'd have to upgrade to the limited model just so I can add the tech package option, would've costed at least 6k extra.

Very nice car  :tu:

They sure made the storage compartment in the boot a lot bigger on the newer model, it's double the size of the one in mine.

Congrats again on the new vehicle. I love the color and the size should be more than enough to tote around pretty much anything a family could need.

driving the new car was wonderful!  I am sure it will take me a few days to find the perfect combination of seat position and steering wheel position, but otherwise it is amazing.

my last car only had a basic car seat, so customizing it was just pushing it al the way back and setting the degree of reclining.

the infotainment system is excellent, and the steering wheel controls are a snap to figure out.

I should also point out my interior is black,  but the reflected light makes it look gray  (grey for those across the pond)

And as soon as the seat is comfortable someone will move it and you will have to start all over again.....   :ahhh

Did you get GPS Navigation in this one?  I can honestly say I doubt I will ever get another car without it.... and if I do I may have to put one in!

there is no "built-in" navigation, but it uses either Android Auto or Apple Car Play, which connect to the phone and you can operate the maps and phone from the touch screen

I think that's the best option, you'd be lucky to get an update after a few years on the OEM navigation, whereas phone based navigation gets constant update to map database.

found a few new items my car has that I did not even know, and KIA did not feel it important to point it out, and I only found one of them while reading the manual   ::)

first.  there is built in storage for MP3s  (though 4Gig in 2017 is crazy small, and seems like it should have been 16Gig minimum.  16Gig storage is so cheep these days and on a $2,500 infotainment system, $7 more for decent amount of storage should have been a no-brainer,  but better 4 Gig than none.

now, for the other feature, something that should help me out greatly.

I suffer from allergies, and the car has a "clean air" ionizer

That is cool. I like the ionizer.  That should come in really handy in the spring!

4 gigs does seem oddly small though, but that is still a goodly amount of music.  I seem to recall my first mp3 player was 4 gigs and it was something like a week or so if it was played constantly before hearing the same song twice.

Although, I have to say, it has been very rare that I wished I had put any mp3's in my stereo.  Between local and satellite radio I rarely need/want anything else.

Very nice car, I hope it gets you where you want for as long as you wish.
Compared to this, mine is pretty spartan (I didn't even choose 4x4, for which Duster is famous) but the infotainment system (Media Nav Evo) works fine.

Kia's have come along way in the past 15 years or so. They are pretty reliable and just require gas/brakes/oil and repeat. I had a third row seat in my previous vehicle (Mazda 5 van) and it did come in handy the handful of times I did use it. I just kept it folded down all the other times.

I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

The Mazda 5 was a fantastic little car. The amount of space in it was just incredible.

It was a very sad day indeed when my brother in law wrecked it :(
