Last one (I think) from me, though there is always the chance I'm forgetting one. :-[  Another older model is the Viking 660, but I've seen it still listed on a couple of sites.

A couple more from me, some slightly more speSmurfpillsed knives.  A woodcarving 120 and a woodcarving 162 spoon knife.

(Image removed from quote.)

I forgot I have a crooked knife as well  Need to get a pic of it as well :D I saw Ray Mears with one and I had to have one  Of course my woodworking looks like a 3 years olds ::) Very unlike anything Ray cranks out :D

Nice pic Gareth

I have a hoof knife somewhere...

Here's another one I always liked the look of.

Mora Scout 440
(Image removed from quote.)

Here's another one of mine, an older model Scout knife that I keep on my floatation vest for canoeing.

(Image removed from quote.)

It's an interesting one.  Can't think of another Mora with the same clip point blade.

Mora enthusiasts? Grathr's and Robert's passion have me looking for ways to learn Norwegian and counting the little yellow pennies to afford a few more Mora blades. The Norwegian is simply to be able to tell our northern members to jump in a barrel of porcupines next time this Mora frenzy starts. Well and to hit on northern women

Not a Mora but I was ready to learn Norwegian to find out about this one!

A Trygve Kverneland (shown with a 50's Carl Andersson #2)

Thanks to Crow and Grathr, it was ID'ed!

"It's an early Stainless Steel (SK-11) from the 1950's made by resident peasant blacksmith Trygve Kverneland associated with Stavanger Staal......in Western Norway (Rogaland)."

Well from my understanding learning it will also help in communication with Danes, Swedes and Icelanders, kinda like Bosnians, Croats, Serbs and Slovenians can understand each other quite well. Plus it's easier to blame someone else or something else than just my insanity.
So where to start with your language?

Learning Norwegian will help with Icelandic, but you won't understand it (mostly) readily, as you will Danish or Swedish. (The grammar in Icelandic is more similar to old Norse than what is the case for the three others, while the system of sounds actually has diverged more in Icelandic. (Though I guess no Icelander will admit it. (They still have a couple of sounds the rest of us has stopped using, but on the other hand, the vowels in Norwegian are pretty much identical to old Norse, which is not the case at all in Icelandic.))) The nice thing about learning Norwegian, is Swedes find it easier to understand Norwegian than Danish, and Danes find Norwegian easier to understand than Swedish as well. :)

The best place to start is of course satwcomic.com :D

A little more seriously, I frankly don't know what's the best way to learn Norwegian. In general, Norwegians are overjoyed and flattered every time someone is interested, but we're not exactly used to anybody actually asking...

Perhaps Project Runeberg would be helpful. ( http://runeberg.org/ – “Project Gutenberg for Scandinavian texts”) https://www.nrk.no/ – The Norwegian little brother to the BBC. http://forskning.no/ – Science news in Norwegian. https://kniver.blogspot.no/ – You know why.

Edit: Wanted to add a couple of more links. :)

:D
Maybe get a Norwegian girlfriend?

I have heard that Norwegian is difficult to learn properly for foreigners for two reasons.

1. We have many exeptions from the rules of the written languages that have no reason and you just have to "know" about them.

2. We have many regional dialects that differ quite a lot from the written language. Just to complicate it a bit more, we have two official written languages, bokmål (originates from Danish)and nynorsk (a hybrid of many dialects) . But because of all the dialects, hardly anyone actually speaks exactly the way we write it in either of the two.

Oh. And Steinar is right. If you want to understand "scandinavian" Norwegian is the way to go. :D

thanks for the suggestions. I think the hardest one would be to find a Norwegian girlfriend,, but considering my luck perhaps that is more realistic than anything else
