Hi guys & gals!

I seem to be a lucky guy this years when it comes to MTs and SAKs. I almost got myself a Pioneer X, a 1st Gen Wave, a SOG PPP and some others... And last week I scored a Climber, but not a usual one. I was in search for this for a few years and I never got it - as it was not available and not even on the secondary market at least here in Germany. A Stay Glow Climber found its way to  my collection.

I just opened the package about half an hour ago  :mail: :mail:

I almost love it - and thought I could share this new purchase to you guys!

Here it is...

... with its brother I just carried today.

Almost love it and it will be on my side right of tomorrow for some period.

Awesome. And bright 8)

I've got a set of Stayglow scales on the way and I'm still not sure what to put them on!  Thinking about either Craftsman or Compact.  Or maybe custom Deluxe Explorer that I haven't put together yet.

I briefly had one as well but they were quickly stripped and put on a Mechanic as a present for my dad.

I ordered some that were pulled from a new knife. I'm not gonna be upset if I need to glue them, but since they're supposedly Nylon, I was wondering if they stayed tight when you put them on your Dad's knife or if you glued them.

Mechanic, or any with pliers, is a great pres for Dad.

Good question.  It was a long time ago now but I think they went on just fine without any need for glue. :)

My latest custom Stayglow. Started with a Waiter Plus, but felt that it was too thick in my pocket so I removed the blade/multi-opener layer.  I've still got all the tools I need for eating woodchips in the dark - tweezers for splinters and toothpick plus stayglow.

I did the Original Traveller/Bijou style no-keyring mod as well.

Still a bit thicker than I'd like, might have to lose the toothpick layer.
