and the number of SAKs is humongous.. :ahhh :ahhh I did a rough sorting, so all the cheap misc. folders are in a separate box and ended up with 151 SAKs.. :climber: They're from an older collection and some are REALLY gunky, but some TLC/new scales can probably do wonders..  :D

Wow... that is a bunch of knives. How did you get that accumulation?

Must be something online-ish... on the fleamarkets sometimes a Spartan appears in rusty condition and the jerks want about twice the price of a new one. I finally stopped even go there.

So where to get something like this ?

Anyhow... I want to wish you a lot of fun and elbow grease on cleaning these things.

Curious to hear what the "gems" of the lot are once you've got it all sorted out.

+1 on the "Gems".

I bought a box lot of just on 100 SAKs a while back and among the trash were several treasures.

A Voyager-Lite that just needed new batteries in the lite and electronic scales, a Hercules that came up fine after de-gunking, a black OC Pioneer in really nice condition and a LNF small Climber.

The 4 of them are probably worth as much as the whole lot cost me.

I'm curious about this one.  No hook on back, looks like pliers and scissors and...mag/phillips? Or could be a Lite/Phillips layer...but I'm not aware of anything with pliers and an LED light aside from Cybertool Lite...

Or my eyes are playing tricks and that's a scissors layer and the WS/MS layers and this is an old ranger with no chisel/small screwdriver on back...

Oh, we got something like that in my corner of the woods...

€2.500,00

100Kg Vic SAKs

I think it's the same sellers/batch but it's from two distinct ads.

5-turn corkscrew and keyring on blade layer indicate an older knife, so early Ranger sounds right.

Thanks.. I've found them on a online marketplace and there's even more cheap folders in another box.. I bet cleaning this lot will keep me off the streets for a few days.. :)

Curious to hear what the "gems" of the lot are once you've got it all sorted out.

Me too.. Hopefully some of you SAK guys can help me out..  :tu:

I'm gonna take you up on that cause there's quite a few that could need new scales..  :salute:
Thanks for the link, I'm gonna take a closer look later today..  :tu:

Probably most the ?? part..  :D :D
I just acted REAL quick when I saw them for sale, so first of all I'm gonna look for some good threads about cleaning SAKS.  :tu: :climber:
There's alot of guys way more knowledgeable than me SAKwise, so I might clean five at a time and the post pics in this thread. Maybe something
interesting will appear in the process..  :)
