Wouldn't know much other than what the tang says, Victorinox, Switzerland, stainless.
Maybe a custom built pioneer.
Beautiful knife. Maybe if you sent it to me I could spend a few years studying it. :D

Traditional Challenge, Day 27

Today I have some old camp knife by an obscure manufacturer.  It looks like it's pattern #05.  Stainless blades, stag scales.  Nickel silver liners & bolsters.  Pretty good F&F...

I thought maybe you guys could help me identify it.

Pinned bolsters, check.
pinned stag, check.
Functions like a pocket knife, check.
If it looks like a duck.

Today's carry of a MIL-K (same '61 Imperial) and my KERT  along with what I cleaned up today- an alligator wrench that literally helped build America--it's former Norfolk and Western RR  property, which I found a decade ago on the adjoining property we lease, and the father of the current owner (who passed in his eighties 12 years ago) was a former N&W employee at one point, as I understand.   I put my 5 inch Crescent Wrench (which is occasionally EDC'd, especially in the field, but not today) just to show how tools have improved.

White powder on wrench is from a soapstone pencil I used to make the "N&W" property marking more legible.

Case mini trapper today.
(Image removed from quote.)

Very nice! I dig that hard-working look.

Day 27

Case Sowbelly in Blue Calypso bone. My last sowbelly! We're getting close to the end now.

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.
