nice one Juan! I work in the field so I'm getting one! Thanks for the heads up!!

That was one reason; as an occupational therapist  from a school based background and having family members across the spectrum, it is important to me to help develop awareness and understanding of this ( and of others) condition affecting our children/future; If by having people curious about my keyring and asking helps a bit, so be it. Glad to know another "fieldworker" in the MT.o community!! :2tu:

Tony, apologies. I didn't see your question in the quote until now.

The double-layer front scale was so I could have both toothpick and tweezers on the MiniChamp, plus the pen on the back scale. I also added a pin slot to the front scale. With all this, I call this my MiniChamp Plus. More details at https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,87486.msg2249119.html

That little rubber case. Can you pull a blade out from the sides or do you have to take the Classic out to work.
Dumb question? Can't see it clearly.

No, I do not think is a dumb question at all, Tony; sadly, you have to take it out. But you can keep the split ring on ... :tu:

Here are a few smaller SAKs I've been using regularly. Left to right (ascending thickness): Ambassador, Executive, Executive, Cadet, Bantam, Sportsman.  Just got the black Executive today!

Thanks!  Here are a few more little guys: Alox classic sd, classic sd, alox mini-champ, bantam alox, waiter, nail clip.

Of these the mini-champ is getting a lot of use.  That little picker hook is great for opening things wrapped in cellophane.  The scissors are the right size for certain small jobs requiring finesse.  Even with all the tools, it's quite slim. Indispensable.

Beware the new Executive. Got one off the 'zon' and it is did not have that orange peeler blade.
Either  'the zon' has the wrong name or the Ezec is discontinued?

I got the black one off Amazon and it has the orange peeler.  I can't quite figure out if the 74's are discontinued or what.  They are kind of difficult to find and expensive.  Next time I want one I am going to put together a big enough order from the Heidi Shop to qualify for free ship.

Nice roundup.
I absolutely love my MiniChamps, especially my Alox.  I also swear by my Alox Cadet.

Yep.  The 74s are sadly discontinued.

Now, what is this "Heidi Shop"?

It's a Swiss vendor. https://www.swiss-knife.com/   Their prices for some items are quite good but the shipping wrecks it, so if you save up and order a bunch at once (I think it's like $125 or something) you get free shipping.  I guess it's possible duties may apply at that amount, I've only put in orders for a single knife before.  The prices in Switzerland appear to be quite low compared to the US.
