Congrats Alan.  Remember to post action shots once you get it in hand  :pok:

It will be awhile before I participate in any challenges again... I am much too fond of loaded pockets  :ahhh

Congratulations to Alan!  And Dang you random.org!  So close (not really, all had an equal chance).

Interesting that out of 23, only 13 of us made it all 30 days...60% survival rate. lol.

This was a fun challenge and it did pose some challenges . . . forced me to do something I hadn't in a long time . . . thinking about how I could do something "come as you are" with only what was immediately at hand. I'm accustomed to having many tools available, including many specialized ones I've accumulated over several decades.

THANKS!
John

Holy smurf!  I was not expecting this.  I honestly had forgotten that there was a prize attached to this challenge and just did it for the love of SAKs.  I just logged in to post my 111mm pic before going to bed and discovered that I now have something very happy to dream about.  My thanks to brother Hiraethus for administering this challenge and to all those who participated.

Now back to the November challenge and onto bigger, but not necessarily better things.

Well done Alan and thanks again to Hiraethus for organising things, that was fun, first time I've done anything like this

It's here!  My package arrived from Hiraethus with a breathtakingly beautiful CT-41 dressed in ruby scales.  I came home from an appointment and saw the mail had already been delivered and there was a parcel notice. :ahhh  I got back in my car and chased down that smurfing smurfer postman for 6 blocks.  No way was i going to wait for another attempt at delivery.  With Thanksgiving in 2 days I might not have seen the package again until December.  Well, I couldn't be any more pleased with my prize. Absolutely ecstatic.  Thank you again Brother Hiraethus for administering this challenge and for getting my prize delivered to me all the way across the Atlantic.  Best wishes for the coming holidays to you all.
