Regarding the scale of 2011 Damascus Limited Edition

Whoa... this is my first time here.
Anyhoo...
I just have a question regarding the scale of 2011 Damascus Limited Edition.
I really like its Ebony Scale, and I was wondering of the scale can be detached from the knife itself to be used for other 91mm tools.
Thank you.

Greetings.      While I'm sure it could be done it might just be easier to make some so you don't have to ruin the LE.

Yeah, that would be a quick way of turning a $500 SAK into a $50 SAK. And you might damage the scales in the process.
I would do what Mr Zoidberg suggests and buy a sliver of beautiful wood and make them yourself, or find someone who can do it for you.

Nicely put TP

What a crazy idea - And you will damage/wreck the scales - as they are glued on - Presumably with glue that will not allow them to come off otherwise they'd errm ..... come off!!

Archerwin and MWDP here on the forum do custom wooden scaled SAKs - MWDP sells them and Archerwin has a blog where he goes through making them
