Enough of these transatlantic imports, time for a bit of Sheffield steel.  8)

Sheffield Steel.   :tu:    IXL used some good steel in their knife blades.

Today pulled out a Trapper for pocket carry.
Here is comparison picture to the Tribal lock.
For 2 blades, the Trapper rides well in pocket.

Got the bench stones out today and cleaned up some of the surface pitting on the pen-knife main blade.  Not 100% gone for sure, but much brighter and cleaner looking in person.

I luv the wood scales and especially the color of that knife.   The blades could be completely pitted, and I could fiddle with that style day in, day out.   :like:
 :hatsoff:

PS: You did an excellent job clearing the surface of your knife, beautiful to admire.

For me, my edc included my Case TL, it Carrie’s so effortlessly for a larger knife.

Cheers LC.  Really is one of my favourite knives.  Hard to photograph but it's also a few mm thicker than a typical pen-knife of this size.  Combine that with a lovely oval cross-section and it's just a nice thing to hold and fiddle with.  :D

:iagree: its an easy knife to carry.

Today I'll go with 3 again.  Sowbelly.  Its been a great knife for everything.  I love the swedges on all the blades.  Mr Tony Bose talked about the old makers using them to keep the blades from rubbing.  I think they are also good looking as well.      The angle on the spey blade is awesome.  When opened it has quite a lean to it.  It feels "heavy" but it also inspires confidence when using.  The stockman pattern is such a wonderful assortment of useful blade shapes.

Pemberton.  Love this little fella.  Its my mail opener, package opener, twine cutter when in the yard, an all around useful knife.  I forget to mention when I have it cause its been such a part of my every day carry that its like mentioning I have socks on.

Lil Copperhead.  Whats not to like?  The color is terrific.  The shield is nice too.  Its a white background.  I also like that its a wharnie.  Theres a pen blade too but man that wharnie is a fun blade.  Just the look of it is fun.

Well there ya go.
