Grohmann slimline.  Not only pretty to look at but also truly pleasing in the hand.

That's a beautiful looking knife!

As I've been doing more research on traditional knife patterns, I've realized the "mini" trapper is (closed length) what I would consider to be a normal size for a pocket knife and that the "standard" trappers are actually quite large by comparison.

I could definitely see a mini trapper in my future at some point!

I'm a fan of the mini size for sure.  A lot easier in the pocket IMO.

Got the Thomas Turner in today.  The King had good taste in cutlers  ;).  Both the blades had some pretty nasty "sharpening" scratches on them and a bit of staining, mostly managed to buff them out with some wet-and-dry.  Sharpened up nicely.

New rig going into the pocket today once I get the edge sorted. Not sure why Case don’t send out knives that can actually cut things.

You did a great job on that!  Simichrome polish is great stuff once you get the scratches down fine enough.  It looks great as-is though.

I hear 'ya.  Sadly, the only traditional knives I've bought that met my standard for "sharp" came from China.
