Was hoping to become a member of the Passenger Owners Club yesterday. But possibly disaster happened: the package containing a mint condition Passenger from the mid eighties (and also a Bantam and a 2016 Pioneer) may have been lost in the mail. According to the tracking code it was delivered, but not at my address and the postal service has no way of finding out where it was delivered because it was handled by the regular mail service in stead of the parcel service. Hopefully somewhere in our neighborhood and hopefully the recipient is an honest person who either returns it to sender or throws it in my mailbox.  :-\
That's not cool. I'm sending my knives in a box, even though some would fit in a bubble plastic envelope, to prevent this from happening. I'm hoping your package will show up.

I also always thought that putting it in a box would make it a parcel instead of regular mail, but you know what? Even boxed mailbox-items with tracking ("brievenbuspakje") will often be handled by regular mail service in stead of the parcel service  :o I just found this out today. In that case the "tracking" is done automatically because mail men don't have scanners like the parcel men. At 7:00 AM it will automatically be "out for delivery" and it will automatically be "delivered" at 6:15 PM.

Only way to ensure that the parcel service will handle it, is by adding Registered service to it, at extra cost.

Great news! I'm glad I can uncross my fingers - they were cramping pretty bad after the first ten hours. Hard to type too.

The Passenger

As you can see a Passenger in almost pristine condition, with grooved corkscrew and plus scales.

I asked the previous owner about the plus scales and he told me he placed these himself. So original it had the normal thinner scales.

Someone won a Passenger on eBay yesterday for $29 or so in what the seller rated used B condition.

That's a good price.
Was one of the members  here the lucky winner ?
