Do you have any plans to produce an actual prototype?

Probably no. I neither have skill nor equipment to produce something like this. Maybe if I try long enough I will manage to make a blade. But I don't know how to make handles without a hydraulic press and die blocks of corresponding shape. I don’t know how to make those handles using only hammer and pliers.
But if you think you can manage, I will help you with what I have. You can download a trial version of modo from luxology.com, and I will send you a model. And maybe I will manage to make blueprints out of this model.

Well, Ben Rivera has seen this model. I addressed to Leatherman's representative in Russia, and he mailed link to this topic to Ben Rivera. I hope I will see something from my model in future Leatherman multitools.

Well Mr Rivera is definitely the guy to have look at it. :) I wonder what his thoughts were?

Vice President in charge of design. He's had his name on every important patent at Leatherman since the original Wave. :)

I wonder what ever happened to Stash and his killer project?  Also this is kinda interesting in light of the Signal project.  Here we have guy spending hours upon hours designing a pretty terrific tool and sending a link to a designer from LM.  Stash where are you brother?

Awesome idea.

Kinda reminds me of Evil's blade resize on his skeletool.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.
