Aberdrew13's Discontinued Challenge Thread
on: October 03, 2016, 12:57:13 PM
With not having a new challenge this month that lands in my wheel house, I'm going to try for an older badge with one of PST IIs.

Here's the tool and the horizontal sheath I will carry it in.  I didn't realize it was so dirty after I got it.  It will need a good cleaning tonight.

Best of luck, I will look forward  to your experiences since we had just completed the Rebar challenge.

I know I am finding it difficult to not suit up without the Rebar for work.

Day 2:

Had to remove a C-4 clip to relocate a cable, so the pliers came to the rescue.

I had given some thought to carrying my Buck 355 for this challenge, just to be a little different, but I am not sure the pliers of that MT could complete jobs such as today's task.  I've never really tried to put one through it's paces, but it doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies that it could stand up to some of the tasks I give to any of my Leathermans.

Day 3:

Using the PST II to open up a couple boxes of jacks.  Also cut the flap off to discourage people from taking the partial box and checking out a full box (hopefully anyways ).

I took a picture today of cutting zip ties, but it apparently didn't save, so I didn't take a pic of me disassembly a network rack this morning.

Will have to get another pic in for today....
