Day 16 - Grim weather. Half expected to meet 3 witches on my morning walk.

When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?
When the hurlyburly's done,
When the battle's lost and won.
That will be ere the set of sun.
Where the place?
Upon the heath.
There to meet with Macbeth.

Day 16:

Using the small flat to drive a stupid security screw.

Day 15

Just spent the last 10 minutes reefing on this paint tin lid but the SAK held on. I seem to be using the flathead/cap lifter more often than the knife.

Also I'm wondering how long the printed on logos will last?

Day 16

I had to clean my Outrider with rubbing alcohol to make sure it was free of the toxins from the Brazilian Pepper I was sawing the other day, but I was then able to use the can opener to access this life sustaining and nutritious soup.  Without our SAKs and their fast and easy can openers we might be forced to do something weird and unnatural such as using the pop top on the other end of the can.  :ahhh

IvanDrago day 16/30

Letting air from my radiators. Sorry for poor picture quality, but I was in very inconvenient position near ceiling ;)

Day 16

I'm kinda missing my Swisschamp and Craftsman. I actually had to get a regular file to sharpen my axe.

Jeep the SAK of the auto world or is it SAK the Jeep of the Knife world?

Brought a wifi dongle for the Mrs's laptop and a record came in the post today so Hunter was the opener of choice.

This is only the second frost we've had so far. I suspect winter is saving up for some cold days.

Day 18 -
I'm doing my best to ignore this beautiful olive-green Victoriwenger that some very late delivery man has just given me, I really am.
But it's not easy.
Today the cardboard/paper collection truck came round so I did some last minute cardboard-box slaughtering with the Hunter's gutting blade. Not ideal, but I am still a bit precious about the non serrated blade. I don't want it to go blunt on me cos I am useless at sharpening these things.
Wow. Olive-green Ranger Grips sure are pretty...

Yep, it's tricky. I wanted green, plain edge, Phillips. Sadly, this configuration doesn't exist! As far as I know there are only two olive-green options. Red is another matter. Too many choices!

IvanDrago day 19/30

Again foul weather, mud and alignment of wires using large flat screwdriver... That's part of my job, fortunately not more than 5% of its entire time ;) That flatty is pretty sturdy and useful tool in fact.
