Sacrilege!!!!!!    :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Is it really???

I feel myself compelled to commit some kind of great sacrilege soon but I think one is more accepted  than the other.

I either want to remove the bail from the SI or file the key chain Off of the Pioneer or both. I bought 2 of each of these new one to keep in the box and one to sport EDC style...  I feel there more replaceable and I feel less cautious carrying them.

Thing is I really just want to EDC. The 89 soldier I have but I would just. Feel terrible if I lost it and I don't really want to mess up the tools on it.

I probably won't be happy until I have another 89 soldier new in the box.hahahaha

anyway don't mean to Ramble, too much. I was just seeing what you guys thought about removing the bail. Honestly, I don't have a lot of beef with the bail. I find it actually to be kind of a cool feature.  I just like a little bit more smooth feeling in the pocket and then my hand that the soldiers offer than the SI or Pioneer w/kr.

Thoughts?

Being a Gemini, I have had periods of time with the bail and then it's like 'the only way to go is bailess' . At present I have reattached the bail and enjoying it, but who knows what he future will bring?

I just used pliers to gently tease them out - you might want to protect the scales with some masking tape (ask me how I know).

Congrats on the '94

So the bail is split inside the rivet?  No cutting necessary?

I received a laser fax from my future self in 3165 explaining that they made a mistake and scratched the scales removing the bail of the heirloom 1997 SI I bequeathed them. They have basically wrecked a 1,168 year old SAK. It was worth bazillions of space credits. :ahhh
