I wonder if anyone else out there is lucky enough to own a Swiss Army Potato.

This one is a Wenger from the early 90s. There's almost no wear on the scales and the tools are like new. I've seen these go for nearly 5 euros on eBay but I'm not in it for the money. It's kinda rough in the pocket and occasionally hospitalises me with arterial bleeding - nevertheless this is my go-to EDC.

I've been trying to get my hands on a cyber potato with orange bits. It will be the perfect screwdriver  :drink:

This SAP was found during excavations in the deep south of the Netherlands. Its age is estimated to be about 9000 years. The tools, originally made of bone, have long since gone, and the potato has petrified.
According to experts, the piece is unique. Although the tools (bones) aren't rare, the potato's survival could only have happened under very special circumstances. Currently, the potato is valued at E 42,000.

Great club idea T-Pants! I've just planted my SAP's in the allotment and am looking forward to digging them up next year. I'm hoping for an XLT and a CT47 in the crop, but we'll see. I might dig one up early so I can join though.

I am not picky about the model as I will plant it and grow more as well Mags :D Thanks for the offer :tu:

You will only get a 58mm or a 74mm at the most if you dig them up to early though :pok: :D

Mine got heat damaged through being to close to a fire. I opened it up to check if the internal structure was still intact, but it had gone all crumbly. 

So I poured chilli on it and scoffed it

BTW this also proves that Europe had potatoes long before Columbus sailed to South America. Modern historians believe that potatoes were brought here along the Eastern route, by the Mongolian hordes. This theory is supported by the fact that many people still call them Taters.
