A SwissBuck Taskmate II on the left and a Wenger Tradesman on the right.

(Image removed from quote.)

How do you like the pliers on the tradesman? I have been wanting a S557 for the pliers/scissors/inline phillips combo but can’t justify the cost.

Might as well post another photo on Four Layer Friday.  Just as a reminder, everyone dig out those old clunkers, junkers, and rusty old plunkers for Sad SAK Saturday tomorrow.

Will do! And did you share a Fieldmaster or a Huntsman with us?

That was a Huntsman.  I don't have a Fieldmaster.  Looking forward to seeing what sort of sad equipment gets posted tomorrow.  It finally rained just a little today.  That knocks back the possibility of fire somewhat.  Best wishes.  G

Of course, I'd ask that question before I saw you answered it in the rotation challenge. And you probably have a good idea of what SAK I'll be showing tomorrow. :)

They're not bad for their size as long as you remember that they aren't designed for heavy duty work.  I've used them to pull staples and small nails out of the wall without issues.

This Explorer gets a place in my pocket when I’m expecting Phillips screws.

The eponymous SAK makes another appearance. I'm not sure if the marks came from particle board or the nasty old plaster you find in older homes, but the wood saw did not like one or both of those.
