I ran into a task that my keychain tools couldn't quite accomplish.  I helped a friend install a smoke detector, and had to put the backup m/t to work.  I used the Explorer's awl to tap a hole in the beam and the Philips Head to install the screws for the base of the alarm.

I would be interested. I would recommend not doing it July though. In July will be the traditional knife challenge, for which a lot of people have signed up for already.
