Gentlemen, there seems to be some confusion over the sizing of the codpiece.  Its role is not that of protection such as a sporting box but an outward display of ones "potency".

Its size need not be related to the tackle it sits over only proportional to the ego of the wearer. (so we know Nick's lying :P ) 

Here we see Dunc's quite modestly sized garment.  I like the way he's modded it to provide additional utility  :salute:
