The funny thing is that I agree with you on the combo tool.

I consider the Compact to be my favorite SAK, but it would have been better if it had a cap lifter instead of the combo tool.

The worst SAK that I own would be the Wenger Basic 63. For some reason I find this knife to be very uncomfortable for me to work with. Probably a combination of size and (lack of) weight.

My choice for worst SAK is those huge marketing ones with all the tools on. It's like the best SAK ever but there's no way on earth you can possibly use it. It's literally useless.

The Wenger Golfer 56 is a bit of a stinker for those of us who don't play golf.

I suppose you could use it for eating fish'n'chips.

Hmmm...

Tomo maybe?

I'm not a big fan on scissorless SAKs personally. I never carry a Spartan or Tinker but I don't feel right saying they're the worst. Any Wenger with that super thick ruler/compass also comes to mind for being way too thick when that tool could be thinner.

I like pocket pals though, secretary, etc...I just feel that if it's gonna be more than a knife blade, it needs to have scissors.

Fisherman is also kinda "meh" for me. I've used the scaler before as a ruler/straight edge but I'd rather have a metal file or wood saw if I'm only getting one of those tools. I like the fish inlay though.

65mm arent that much more durable either, but I can forgive that because they are just back ups and not real tools.

I agree. If someone offered me one for free I'd turn it down.

If I was offered the Vic equivalent I would accept and mod it right down to an XLT. Boom!

The worst... any of the cheap knockoffs... so awful, so insulting to the greatness of saks!

Within the official sak range... hmm... I'm not a 58mm fan but they are still exceptional devices. I'm lost...

Those are not SAK's, they are AK's at best.

Actually not even AK's, but K's.

Meh...

's is the proper acronym I guess.

Bingo!
Wenger had a better line up on the small ones. But they are just not skookum enough. Nice back ups, but just to small for the hard jobs for the work I do.

I agree with Al one a few points. The 93mms. I want to like them. They are strongly built, look beautiful and totally do me no favors. They lack tools. No back tools like drivers. Yes you can use the tin opener, but they just bend or snap when you really need to reef on a screw. I want to love them, but just can't get alone with them.

Because it makes the SAK unusable for all of us in countries which don't allow you to carry locking knives under normal circumstances
