Cap lifter

I think I've found a problem with the powerlock . All the tools when closed sit on the metal lock bar that runs across the inside of both handles .All that is except the caplifter due to its shape . All the tools have two nicks in them , one for when they are locked open and the other for the lock to sit in when they are closed .The trouble is the cap lifter can be closed further then its resting nick so when you open another tool , most notably the scissors they won't lock because the cap lifter has gone past its resting nick .
  Its really bugging me  >:(

Take it off and dremel the resting notch wider, that's what I did and everything locks fine.

Thats a good idea , thanks . But we really shouldn't have to be doing this . Locks on a locking multitool should be faultless .

Try not to let Victorinox set the bar too high in your mind.  ;)  :D

I agree.  The tool is even called the powerlock so you would expect that bit to be right.  ::)

I noticed this on my Powerlock too, I've even mentioned it in the review I'm writing. It does seem a bit odd that it got through the design stage :-\

I think so, it certainly looks the same as yours (apart from colour)! Not too up on the revisions of SOG tools but i'm pretty certain its an old one :)
