Wenger Tang Stamps and Scale Crosses

Here`s a wenger tang stamp and scale cross compilation.
Its not finished yet and many dates are very inaccurate. But there`s not much info around about wenger stamps... So if someone knows more, just let me know so I can update the compilation.

Looks potentially useful, but I can't read the fine print, either on the screen or printed out.

Could you do a larger version?

Thanks.

Ok I`ll try to load up a better version.

Right mouse click on the picture, "show graphic", than it should work.

Thank you very much, ulli! It is very usefull table.
One little question: does this table consider the matherial, which the picture on the scale was made with? I meant plastic or metall insertion, metall (nickel silver or stainless steel) inlay, tampoprint, hotprint etc.
And second more little question: what do the abbreviations mean (e.g. wdsm, wt and others)? I have not found any decoding in the table or here.

P.s. Sorry my terrible English and might be stupid questions.

This table does not consider the material. That would be an update. I did that for the victorinox scale crosses, but not for wenger yet.
The problem with wenger is, that there isn`t much info around and also not that many knives compared to victorinox.

The letters for the tang stamps are just there that you can see what combinations of tang stamps are around. wdsm stands for the tang stamp "Wenger Delemont Swiss Made", wt for "Wenger Tahara" and so on. iC: stands for "in combination with", MB for "MainBlade", SM for "SmallBlade", CO for "CanOpener" and so on. Hope that helps you using the table.

Could you give a link for it, please? I am very interested in this. I found the table about tang stamps, but I have not found yet any assembled information, only some pieces here or there.

The pdf is really cool. But also with some mistakes. For example, the tang stamp Wengerinox is dated there at 1916. As far as I know, Inox-Steel was not available before 1922.
Every book and every sheet I know are with many mistakes. Thats not so bad, as long as you don`t take those too serious. If everybody would share his information about the knives, it would be much easier to create a cool book or sheet that is nearly complete and accurate.

Here is the sheet for the scale crosses of victorinox.

I don't know if this is the correct thread to ask or not. But if someone can help, it would be great...

A friend just snagged this tool. And asked for my help in identifying it. Looking at the above sheets, I could not locate the tang stamp and scale shield... It looks like a Wenger...

So, is this legit?

Hello everybody
Thank you very much for your post.
Unfortunately on the list is a succession with the BladeMarks. Military and civilian, farmer knives and kitchen knives?
I would be interested in the origin as well as sources.
I have been trying for years to create a series of blade marks.
I only collect the "standard model" (classic 07) to compare them.
Greetings chregu

I've found recently not very common WK stamp, shown by Ulli in his cool sheet. ? How rare is it? Do you guys have better condition?

I would say: very very rare!

In my opinion its the nicest wk stamp of all. I think only wenger used it. And I have seen only about 2 or 3 knives with that stamp. Still I think its original and not a custom made one.

An interesting knife was recently sold on eBay. Hope somebody from MTO got the knife and make good pics. It has well known Wenger Delemont stamp and another one I never seen : Swiss Made with crossbow. What do you think, is last one Wenger's stamp or something like retailer's or partner's additional blade stamp?

I suppose, Wenger.  The knife looks like a standard model, I don't think the stamp was applied after it was assembled.
