Robert Lessard Custom Owner's Thread
on: January 25, 2017, 06:00:46 PM
In another thread, it was mentioned there should be an owner's thread for the fine work of Robert Lessard (Syph007).  It's a neat idea to see the range of work Robert has covered over the years.  Owners, please include some details about your custom and post up a few pics.

Here's mine:

Model Name: Inventor
Size: 93mm with titanium scales
Tools:
 - 93mm main blade
 - 93mm awl
 - 93mm flat head screwdriver/bottle opener
 - 91mm 3D phillips
 - 91mm metal saw/file
Original Delivery Date: 02/18/2016

As delivered:

This beauty sees daily use and is exactly what I was hoping for.  Thanks, Robert!

Nice pics and great idea for a thread s1xty7.

Here's mine:
93mm with red alox scales and brass liners.
Tools:
 - 93mm main blade
 - 91mm combo tool
 - 91mm metal saw/file
 - 93mm wood saw
 - 91mm scissors

It's in my pocket most days hanging off a Tec Acc clip.

The anodizing is holding up well.  I've dropped it on concrete a couple of times so there are some chips on the scales.  I tell myself this adds character...

The 84mm nail file sits too low , so there needs to be some modification to make it accessible because otherwise the scale will be in the way preventing one drone being able to open the nail file.

He cut one of his custom springs on an angle so that the file sits in an a more upright position, this way the nick just sits above the scale. At least this is how I remember how he told me he did it..

Here's mine. It started as an explorer with the nail file / hook from a compact. I switched out the small blade for an inline awl and dyed all of the plastic black to match the liners.
