OHO Trekker is this normal?

OHO Trekker is this normal?

Hello All,

Please help me understand if this is normal or a production defect. I notice the marking after a week of playing around with it.The blade is now easy to open, but the saw is still stiff and griddy,The knife was purchase New in Jan-2017.

If you mean the metal has picked up some radial scratches from opening & closing, that's perfectly normal.

Maybe a drop of oil will keep it getting worse?
