The small Olight is the only one I've been successful in getting Mrs. TJ to carry on her keys with her. :tu:

I was Shopping on the german OLIGHT Store Last sunday:
Because whe want to make more camping, I bought the O lantern classic 2 Pro in this cool vintage copper color, looks cool, I ditnt test its light yet, only put it on shortly to see if it’s works , so reminds me a bit on the petromax lanterns whe had at Boy Scouts but whiteout the flames .. ^^
I thought it’s bigger but it’s actually quite small ..

Then I bought the Oport, this key ring size magnetic charger as a backup, as I also carry a small power bank , and a roll on cable for Micro, USBC and Lightning, so I can charge my phone, AirPods or whit this charger my flashlight:

Warrior Mini 3, all thought it’s much bigger than my Baton 3, but whit 3500 mah instead of 500 mah from the Baton 3 a lot more powerful, ..
it’s this blue color, so fits perfectly to my color scheme i already have whit the blue Garmin Instinkt 2 Solar Watch and the Swisschamp..
there where also a emaile mug and a small AAA Light as a freebie in this package, I think the mug will get good use, the light will have to find its purpose..

Swisschamp (Blue Transparent) Cybertool L (Blue Celidor (custom scales) , Huntsman (Black Celidor) , Victorinox EvoGrip S557 (Red, but sadly lost in my house somewhere) Victorinox Delemont S17 and S57 ..  , waiting for: Swiza D09 Blue

Great lights but I've never loved the last one.  It's great looking, but I initially outfitted my wife and daughter with that model on their keychains.  They put it in their purse and the head would routinely screw itself off.  Probably work better for your son in absence of a purse but still something to watch for.  Replaced them with i1R and never an issue in years.  Hope it works better for you than they did for us.

Thanks for the heads up on that.  We'll keep an eye on it as he'll be carrying it in his pocket.  I wonder if some purple Loctite might help with that.

Did not had the chance to test it fully, but I have now the Perun2 Mini, shure there is also the big Perun3 whit all its cool Features, but I did wanted something that is much lighter than the Warrior 3 Mini, as EDC, I mean I can always get the bigger light if needed from my Backpack, but most of the time this should be enough..
looks cool in blue, this headband works good and at is can get separated it’s quite small so I can carry booth ..

Got now finally a few days for Tests on this Perun2 Mini: Awesome little Flashlight, shure the Batterie is a bit small whit 650mah, nothing compared to the monster Batterie of the Warrior Mini 3

Its quite usefull: You can wear the Light on the Headband, or on the "Neckhole" of your T-Shirt ^^

As a small EDC Light whit the Option for Headlight Use, its nice, ..

Perun 2 Min[. . .] You can wear the Light on the Headband

Olight is prolly my favorite brand of light/torch, and I love headlamps - so the little Perun 2 mini on a headband is one of my favorites.  I wore it last night while I filled up a birdbath and feeder.

The magnetic charging is great.  So easy.  But yes you do need that dedicated charger and cannot use just any USB-C.

My other favorite headlamps are from Black Diamond, but I guess that is for another thread.   :tu:

I got me this O-Port Charging adapter when i did order the Olight Lantern and the Warrior Mini back then, this is attached to my Keys, and I have an USBC Cable and an Powerbank also in my Pockets…

So this is not that big issue

I was planning on buying an Olight or two. Maybe it's a good thing I held off; we will soon find out. Thanks for the tip! :salute:

I did put the Charging Case for Baton4 and Perun2Mini n my Shopingcart cause i have the Perun2 Mini and it might be usefull, as well as the Perun 3 (the Big One), But i don’t understand this Countdown yet: might be i had to wait until its over..

And they have now these surprise boxes for 10 instead of 20 € on sale; did buy 2 and will maybe unbox them on camera, let’s see what it contains : even if i dont in an marauder, some of the items are over 10 €, so I can’t lost much..

And if its contains an Baton 4, I have a gift for my niche..

It was a nice thought, but the U.S. Olight store apparently has trouble keeping items in stock. There was no way to add those I wanted to a cart. Guess I'll look at other options.

Well i got the stuff i wanted, and its allready in an Box and they did at least call DHL to pick it up, so if there is an 7000 Lumen Pocket Flak Searchlight in one of mine Surprise Boxes, its cant get removed ^^ But i would quess the Packet will arive tomorrow, i will make an Unboxing Video (but in German) ^^ "You push this button and there comes the light, its a kind of Magic !! "

EDIT: There is no Marauder in it, so no "Flakscheinwerfer" ;( So i hope for an Baton4 Kit or another Perun Kit ^^, there is also an chance for an Bike Light in it, this will definitly go to my Niches ..

Well i was expecting that these Surprise Boxes where really surprising: you Order them, you Receive them, you open them, you have the fun to find out yourself ..

But “Peifedeckel” : on the Olight Store Page with my Order History, there are now 2 Items I never did order but have the Price from the Surprise Box:
An I3T EOS, it’s a cool small AA Powered Light and would be around 23 € if I would buy it, and an “Kreisel” , I wonder in which survival situation you would need this , but well, it’s some sort of an Gift then as I did not lost money on the 2 Surprise Boxes..

And who knows? Might be these are only placeholders and there are better items in them,

But I’m a tiny bit dissapointed as it’s means I lost a bit fun in worst case ..

Anyway: my plan is too pocketcarry my Perun2 Mini in the Charging Case I did order, so is all ways ready and then I will decide if I would carry the Perun3 or my Warrior 3 Mini as my big EDC LIGHT..

I would assume the Perun3 got a lot more cool features?

So i did pick up the Package today:
The Perun3 is quite cool,
the Charging Case for Baton4 and Perun 2 Mini might become handy,
The Opens 2 Mini are smaller than i did expect but holds allready quite comfortable,

The Surprise Items that where’d no Surprise thanks to the Order History Page: The I3T EOS looks cool in Blue, and thanks to its LED and AAA Batterie its makes Light when you push the Button,
Reminds me a bit on the Maglight Solitaer i had back then although this never worked that good ..
The Kreisel is still in its box, might be cool  but i dont know..

For the Freebee Stuff:
This Green Shopping Bag might become usefull, the Adhesive Badge not that much, but the LED Strip will get use in our Shop for a bit Christmas’s Deko and therefore it should be a lot safer than an Christmas’s Tree Light Band from the 1990tes..

All for all good stuff ..

The Perun3 got now a few times to shine, not that much as an Headlight but as an Flashlight: Yes its quite bright ^^, but i have to think about its usecase, i mean the Perun2 Mini is good enough for most of my uses still .. and its much lighter on the Pocket ..,  so the Perun2Mini is my EDC Light, whyle the Perun3 is for bigger Light for Heavy Duty Shining ..

The Charging Case for the Perun2Mini/Baton4 is now also an Pocket Item: Did test it whit my Ipad but it dit trow the 5000mah quite fast, but its nice for emergency Juice Storage ..  , whit the Perun2 Mini its dosnt draw that much power, so it will take quite long until its empty when i only use it for keeping the Charge of my Small Light ..

Im still unshure with my Flashlight EDC stuff: Should i carry the Perun2 Mini as my Everyday Main Flashlight + its Charging Case and Headband? Its tiny but allready lot brighter than an Double AA Batterie Maglite from the time they had still a normal Lightbulb, and with its Charging Case which doubles as an Powerbank its runs forever ..
My Main Uses are just normal EDC Stuff: Finding a clean way to my Car thought the Garden, light up Door Locks to find the Keyhole, some times using it to find stuff in an not enough ilumineted Room etc ..

Or should i go full in and Carry instead of the Perun2 Mini the Perun3, allthough its Body is much longer and cant be carry conciled in the Pocket of my Work Jeans where the Glows are as well?

I have the Perun3 Outsourced now in my Backpack for uses where i need something much bigger..

I carry the Baton 3 as my EDC.  In your case, I would carry the Perun 2 alone as I wouldn't have a need for the headband or the charging case the majority of the time.

The Perun2 Mini Headband fits perfectly in my right Pocket alonge whit the Airpods and the Electric Lighter..
When i would carry the Perun3 as EDC, the Purchose of the Perun2 Mini where senseless last year .. whit the Perun2 Charging Case i also have an Powerbank, and the Perun2 runs for as long allmost an eternity (500mah internal Batterie, and when not needed i can recharge it there, so its ready everytime ..
on the other side, i can use the Perun2 Mini as an Backup Lamp in my Backpack as its allways ready to make light..

Well, i think i use the Perun3 and its Headband as an EDC Light, so i have the full 3000 Lumen if i need them, and the Perun2 Mini + Charging Case as a Backup Light and Powerbank in my Backback..

Well i did my final Decicion:
-Perun 2 Mini in Charging Case including its Headband (which dosnt fit in the Charging Case sadly), so i have a good Headlight with me which is allways 100 % Charged in my Pocket, this way i have also an 5000 mah Powerbank
- Perun 3 in Solo Mode as an Flashlight but the Headband is in my Backpack in Case i need a brighter Headlight

I think this way should make much more sense ..

And i did a Flak Seachlight Test from my Roof Window to the Garden yesterday evening with the Perun3: ok its only 3000 Lumens and not about 900 Million like Flak Light, but its only needs an 5000 mah, 3,6v 18 Wh Batterie to operate and not an 34 hp BMW Engine Generator .. ^^

Also a nice feature on the Peruns is that thanks to the 180 ° Head, they are even usefull if you activate them in the Sidepocket as they shine the right direction .. ^^

Another Olight Order: this time the Arkfield Pro: its not an Classic Round Flashlight but more an Flat Pen Like Light: and its got some Extra Features like an Laser and an UV Light which booth might be usefull for something  ..

I have the Perun2 Mini attached to the Headband in my Pockets, and the Perun3 in my Backpack if i would need a bigger Headlight ..

And the Arkfield Pro did arrive, (as well as 2 Packs of Graphite Pen Refills for the Open2 Mini
Looks quite awesome in Green ..
Other than the other Olights this came whitouth the Batterie Contact blocked as the Batterie is this time build in ..
But to prevent it to get Discharged they did activate the Lock ..

I did allready a few tests: The Light fits perfectly in my Sidepocket, and you can even attache an Lanyard to this Clip..

It is not that dark outside to fully test the Light LED, but it seems to be quite bright allready
The Lazzor (PEW PEW PEW !! ) is Class 1 so not that Powerfull, but for what it was meant it should work, the Point is quite visible in Daylight
I dont know if it was a good idea to have the Laser in the Middle, but whe will see how often its causes issues ..

The UV Light works quite good, i know there are 2 Frequencies where Consumer UV Lights are available, 165 and 195 mhz, it is good enough to toggle a few of the Security Points on an € Banknote, on my German Driving Licence and my ID Card, and its also lets show some dirt on Survaces which you would not see whitouth UV Light ..

I’m tomorrow morning again in our magazine, and there is an Electric Light but i use most of the time my FLashlight and Headlight, as its more easy ^^ i can then show how good its performs

So my Plans for the Lights i have is:
- The Perun2 Mini is quite Lightweight, its becomes a Running Training Light
- the Perun3 is now my Work Headlight for in the Backpack
- and the Arkfield Pro shall become my EDC Light, (and might be i find some use for the UV and Laser as well)
