The Arkfield Pro was one of the ones that started me looking for a new light but I didn't think I wanted to part with the money they are asking for it.  I ended up finding the OClip Pro and I really like it.  In fact, I just ordered one as a surprise for my father too as I think he will really like it.

It's a lot bulkier than the Arkfield Pro, but as long as you never see one of those in real life you'll never know the difference!  :D

As i did need the Perun3 this morning as an Headlight , i was thinking about my Olight EDC: i dont need that often an UV Light and Laser so i should put the Arkfield Pro maybe on my Backpack for when i really need it, and take my Perun2 Mini back including its small Headband in my Pockets if i need an Headlight fast ...
But its Charging Case in my Backpack which is also an Powerbank ..

Well thanks a lot.  I just decided that I needed to get an orange one for myself and now you show me the black one?  Dang I really like that and the black/blue color combo matches my new truck really well!

Since I have one living in my truck I may have to get the black one and let my green one go back to EDC carry.

You are most welcome. The blue light bezel really sets off the black one. I think once you get it you will really enjoy it. You know you are most likely going to end up with the orange one.  :pok:

Well ...

I seem to have gone a completely different way with it.  I just ordered the oClip Ultra, which replaces the red LED for a UV one.

https://ca.olight.com/store/oclip-ultra-edc-flashlight-with-o-aluminum-material?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwk43ABhBIEiwAvvMEB_6wqAmaG59LKufXCiLhEINzwgG2VX7y0dKoi1fmOOaCLrKasA6u7xoCxmUQAvD_BwE

I don't know what the heck I would need that for but it seemed like an interesting option and I don't currently have a UV light so I thought I'd add the versatility.

And of course I got the olive one.

I did a rethink on my Flashlight EDC: So i did decide to carry the Arkfield Pro and the OclipPro: even though booth have UV Light so it might not be that economic, but i did order these days also the Oclip Headband Holder, which makes the Oclip a quite nice Headlight whit the Option to have it still as an Clip Light for the Beekeeper Suit
The Headband is not that big and fits in my Pockets as well, so i have now a bigger Light whit UV and Laser, and a Headlamp ^^

Back on Baton Turbo, the Pocket Flak Search Light, its a bit sad its ditnt charge in the Baton Charging Case..
The Oclip Pro works quite good as Headlight, the Olight Headband works quite good: its whit one Strap tiny enough for an Jeanspocket, the Light is quite "Light", and finally you get something where the 3 Modie make sense,  also an Head Mounted UV Light might help whit some tasks like maybe finding false Money, or maybe even Uran Glas ..
The Only thing i found today was that the Batterie dont last that long anymore: Might be i did not locked the Trigger so its did shine in my Pocket? Maybe whit a tiny enough Powerbank, an Powerbank Headband Mount, i could power the Oclip on the Headband as its also works whit USBC Cable atteched..

There's a flashlight forum?! And an Olight thread?! Here's mine, the i18. A big ole hunk of brass, twice the weight of the i3E w/lithium cell. But I like the weight and feel of it, and it just looks so pretty! Also bringing together the LM-Vic-Olight trinity.

My next 2 Olight Products is this Olantern whit the Telescopic Bottom Part, and the bigger Obulp as the small Obulp whas allready quite nice i got as an gift when i did order something last year..

After i got a quite nifty burning injury last week from the Oclip Pro in my Pocket i did use as an Pocket Headband Light, might be the On-Off Trigger is not that secure even if the Light is locked (strangly only my leg got hurt, my Pants Pocket is completly fine) i did decide to change my Olight EDC :

The Oclip Pro is now on my Belt so its will not harm my Legg again, this will get used as an Cliplight or for its UV Feature (is some times usefull)
The Perun2 Mini is now again my Pocket Based Headlight, i also have the Olight Charging Case in my Backpack which Doubles also as an USBC Powerbank
And as my "big Flashlight" i have again my Warrior Mini in use now ^^

Shure 3 Flashlights in EDC might be a bit much, but i think its still fine .. also everyone of them got its own purpose..

I bought a pair of OLIGHT I5T EOS RSV 300 Lumens Dual-Output Slim EDC Flashlights to replace a pair of terrible cheap "Tactical" flashlights that I use all the time on my computer desk. I wanted something not powered with a rechargeable battery, and these looked good. My sole complaint is my habit of storing them vertical for easy access. I did not think about this very well, but due to the same diameter of the body, these guys are too easy to knock down. Just seeing if I can live with this, if not, I may be looking for something with a wider flashlight head in the future.

I was this Morning also thinking about Order the Arkfield Pro Ultra, but why? I need an Headlamp anyway so I’m back on the Oclip Pro whit Headband Adapter in Pocketcarry which also got an UV Light, and the Flashlight Part Serves the Baton Turbo: it’s small but bright..

Quess what: I did rethink it and did order the Olight Arkfield Pro Ultra ^^, this way i have an new Powerfull Multi LED Flashlight (Lazor, UV, Light), also its did suck that you cant remove the Preeorder T-Shirt from your Olight Shop even though i did later cancel the Arkfield again ..
I hope this will be my last Olight Purshase this next 2 Years .. my Olight Collection might be as big now as my SAK Collection ..

I went with the Pro and not the Ultra, as you can select the color of the Pro.  But the Ultra's output is slightly higher.

I have been using an older Arkfeld's laser to drain a 9 week old kitten's energy so it doesn't think I'm a giant mouse.

I wonder why the Arkfield Pro Ultra got USB C + Magnetic Charging: most people have in 2025 more likely an USB C Cable than an Olight Charger,
It’s like on my 2 Olanterns (I have the classic and the Stretch): they also have charging via Magnetic and USB C..
or is it because this way they keep the feature whit attach the Light to an Metal Surface?

So is USB C Faster?

I have the O-Port Charging Adapter on my Keyring, but also the Perun 2 Mini doesn’t need it as I have the Olight Charging Case in my Backpack..

My preferred charging method on the Olights is propriety magnetic charger.  Yes, you need to take the charger with you if you travel, but I have a few of them around the house and it is super easy to let that charger magnet thwap on the light with not much effort.  Having the addition of the USB C makes it easier to charge when your proprietary charger is not available.

Got around to picking up one of these finally.  Well, three really as that was the best deal.  I've seen quite a few comments about how these are really useful for women to clip to bags.  With a wife and daughter that held some appeal.  Early black Friday sale and they bundled up three so my girls get one each and one left over for me.

Picture below with an i5R for size comparison.

I haven't poked around with a Seeker4 too much to know how well they'd run off a non-rechargeable but they run off a 3.5V 18350.  I get the wanting non-rechargeable lights, I have a few about, including a couple of i5T and i3T though most I own are i5R versions.

The Seeker4 mini might have the right form factor for you, though as I recall they are quite a bit more than the i5T cost-wise.  Definitely more stable, though not that much harder to knock down.  Heavier too, but lots more light available.

My favorite Olight is the Seeker2 but it is much larger and no longer available.

After DHL was yesterday too late for putting my Olight Paket in the Packstation (the deal whit the Packstation is that i just have to look there on my Way home, but on 2 days the week im at 2 in the afternoon at home, i did receive the Arkpro Ultra this morning, seems like its dont fire up when its not once charged, or its did lost its charge over the cold night..
Its looks good, allthough i would had more likely an Blue one .. this Nato Olive looks like i got it straight from the German Bundeswehr ..
I did not test the light yet, its first have to charge,
One Downside i did discover is that its dont have an Attachemend Point for an Lanyard, but the dedicated Button for the Laser makes it a lot safer to use than the old Arkfield Pro as you dont shine whit an Laser by accidend on peaple when you intentionally wanted to use the Light ..
To have Fokused and Flood Light is a nice feature also UV in 2 Power Levels
The Praxis will show how good its works ..

Expect the missing Lanyard Hole im happy whit the Arkpro Ultra now, its quite bright, having 2 Levels for UV is also good even though its still not the right nm which where needed to tell real money from fake, but its works for other stuff, and if i remember correctly, in some places in the UK there are now allready Scorpions so might be whit Global Warming whe will soon also get these Nasty things in Continental Europe as well, and they are usable whit UV..

Whit the 2 different Charging Methodes: i found that whit the Magnetic Charger the Charging Indicator is only on the LED of the Charger (in my Case the O-Port from my Keyring), and when you connect the Light to USBC i did do this morning the Charging Indicator on the Light Switcher tells what happens ..

Also im back to the Oclip Pro + Headband Adapter instead of the Perun 2 Mini: The Headband Adapter is made whit an Solid peace of Plastic instad of the Gummiband from the Perun 2, which might survive longer in my Pocket, also its a bit smaller .., and having an UV Light Headmounted might also get usefull in the Situation i did wrote above ^^
