Looks good. I did the same mod on one of my PST's however I put the clip on the other side and used a kick screw. I also notched out the handle for the clip edge.

The kick screw had a different thread to my PST knurled ones

You are correct but with enough effort and slow and steady work it can happen   8)

Honestly all I did was Dremel cut about 3mm off the screw then slowly thread it in then back out until it seated tight then removed it put a little oil and reinstalled. Fit perfectly

Here is my mod i need to "clean" it up a bit but it is very functional. The slot for the clip was a little larger than I liked but I know what to do if I decide to make another. I put my sideclip beside for comparison.

I am now looking for another PST II to modify with the clip. I have one but I want to keep it an original.

I did have to apply a little loctite blue to the screw to keep it held tight which in turn tighten up the the movement but I am sure it will get worked in.

Wow, nice work on the clipping of the PST Ben! And your first multitool mod job too. :multi:

Is it still holding firm now a few days later?
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
