Super Tinker chomping at the bit for a Tinker Tuesday. (Image removed from quote.)
Just ordered a deluxe super tinker to try out
This is an old Deluxe Tinker with the split in the Phillips head for pealing open cans if you lost the " can key"..
I recall using a few of those sorts of cans when I was really young. Are there any cans that use that 'peel and roll' strip as an opening now? I bet not. Still, a cool feature.
The Deluxe Tinker is my favorite "Fishing Tinker" and an awl-around good pocket knife.
Deluxe Tinker or Super Tinker?I'm sure there isn't a Deluxe Super Tinker but I've been known to be wrong on many occasions.
The ideal fisherman's knife would have pliers, scissors and a scaler.
Sounds like the Swiss Champ is the knife for you!Wait....from SAK Wiki: "The five-layer Deluxe Angler, also known as the Waterman, adds the scissors and hook to the Angler and was an older model, also sporting the fish inlay. " That'd give you your trio of scaler, scissors, and pliers. My Deluxe Tinker:(Image removed from quote.)
How come your Deluxe Tinker has Fish scales?
Okay five times real fast,,,,,,, Small Tinker And A Totally Tasty Tilapia Taco With Tomatillo Salsa In The Truck, During A Thunderstorm On Tinker Tuesday,,,, whew
Because it is my favorite "Fishing Tinker"! The Handyman is a great fishing SAK, too. As is the Swiss Champ. But when I finally got a Deluxe Tinker, I knew I had found the SAK I wanted to take fishing (I don't need the scaler). So, I put a set of fish scales on it to recognize this DT as my "Fishing TInker".
You can write it but how do we know that you can say it? LOL
Totin' the terrific tiny (84mm) Tinker this Tuesday! (Image removed from quote.)
Beautiful Small Tinker! That is one I really need to get.
