Buck BU184 "Buckmaster": Regrind done by Tom Krein

Here is a knife I thought everyone might like to see. I was looking for a Buck BU184 "Buckmaster" on another forum and a forum member sent me this knife for free. Wow, I was totally blown away! The edge was in really bad shape, other than that the knife was really nice. I always regretted selling my Buckmaster years ago and I've been on the lookout for one ever since.

I sent the knife off to Tom Krein to do one of his famous regrinds for me. He not only fixed the edge with his regrind, but he reprofiled the tip (which was damaged) and made the knife a real cutter as you can see from the pictures. This is now one of my favorite knives.

Anyone else like the Buckmaster?

Wow. It's hard to believe that blade was ever damaged. I'd say the regrind was worth it!
