Copper Flashlight 30 day Challenge!!!

Ok folks, here is a new challenge for y'all. Carry a copper light as your edc for 30-days straight, and post a picture in this thread each day. I will start the challenge on Wednesday the 19th of this month, and end it on the 19th of next month. Hopefully this will give anyone who wants to order a flashlight enough time to do so and anyone who wants to participate enough time to see this thread. The 19th of next month I leave to drive down to Florida for a cruise so I cant push it any later than that i don't think. Feel free to join me!!! I don't want to be alone in this thread!! :ahhh:


So, the rules are:

-carry the same copper flashlight as your edc light for 30 days straight

-post daily pictures in this thread

-use the copper light as much as humanly possible, but if you keep a bedside or car light for emergencies or need something that your copper light can't get done (like 300 yard stuff for a keychain light) then do what you need to. This challenge should not jeopardize your safety in any way. Just make sure you use your copper light for everything else.

-post comparison photos on day 30 of the patina (if any) that your light acquired during the challenge.














Here is the prize!! A Saddleback Leather copper pen. These things are nice, raw copper and have a cool open/close feature. I liked it so much I ordered two. One for me, and one for the prize. I will do the drawing after the challenge ends, and ship the prize after I get home from the cruise. Good luck everyone!! You must complete the challenge to enter the drawing.

Sorry to hear that the 3 of y'all cant join. I can't help as far as lack of camera goes but I do know that the Olight I have is only 20 bucks usd on amazon. Pretty inexpensive for a copper light. I assume its something equivalent across the pond if you are interested in joining. If not, hope you enjoy watching! :tu: :cheers:

Wow! What luck!! No smartphone to upload pics either I'm guessing. Heres an idea, if you plan on replacing your computer during the challenge, take a pic on each day and save them in your camera until you have a way to upload them. When you get your computer, post them all labeled with the day and you'll be all caught up!

I may do that but to be honest I have no idea when I will be able to afford a new computer. I can't even afford the basics around the house let alone a new computer. I am wanting to sell some tools and knives but can't provide pictures for the sale thread.

Very sorry to hear that cap, I understand you not buying a new computer in that situation! Maybe you can get to a public library or internet cafe somewhere to upload the for-sale pictures from your camera if you need to. I hope things work out well to your benefit!

Saying goodbye to my normal EDC and hello to the Olight for 30 days. I didn't realize how spoiled I am by the UltraTac i carry every day. It is so bright, has a button, and has 4 modes. Well, here we go!

Have grown to love multi-purpose lights lately. Olight H1R Nova and Armytek Tiara A1 specifically. It will be nice to go back to my AAA light carry...

I've had my Ti3 clipped to one pocket or another as my edc for over a year. I like the clip, and the light is small so it just disappears.  :cheers:
