"Engraving" on main blade of super tinker

I bought this knife used today - it's in excellent shape and has never been "sharpened" unlike many I see that look like someone used a dull rock for that purpose.

On one side of the blade is an engraving (it's depressed into the blade, not a decal or something similar).  I've never seen this before and was wondering if anyone would know what it is.



This is also a "Officer Suisse" version - noted on the blade same side as the engraving.  Whether this has anything to do with it I don't know.

My guess (just a guess) is that it is a company logo of some sort. Will be interested in reading what it really is.

Thanks for the reply.  I took another look under a 10x lense and there is nothing else that does not show up in the photo - no lettering or anything.  There is a very fine horizontal line directly above the three parallelograms and that's it.

Try taking a close-up pic of the logo then doing a google image search for anything matching the logo - that might find something for you.

I used the "Screen Clipping" tool on Microsoft Word, clipped the logo portion of the blade, saved that as a photo, and did a Google Image search with it.    It brought up Manulife, an investment firm based in Toronto.   I think that logo is laser etched.

Thanks for running that search.  It makes sense as manulife is an insurance/investment dealer across Canada.  Likely provided to a client or employee.  Looks like they never used it.
