Kershaw factory seconds
on: May 02, 2017, 08:17:46 PM
Hey all,

Do these hold any sale value?  I have a kershaw spider leek, orange county choppers, limited edition, but it is a factory second.  Picked it up at  their once a year sale some time ago.

Thanks!

  • Geometry cuts but the steel determines how long.

I don't now if a factory second is an overstock or a blem. If I remember right Kershaw blems are marked with xxxx on the blade. So if it's marked with 4 x's it's value would be like a used knife.

Thanks for the input.  Was wondering because I may want to sell a few items to make way for the new ones I recently bought.

It's probably a little lower than even a used one-- used Kershaws have full factory warranty, whereas a blem doesn't have a warranty at all. I own quite a few, about 30 that I've picked up the last few years at the factory sale and from a guy named Dave. They're great users, great beaters, but I wouldn't expect them to have much sale value unless it's something REALLY rare.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking too.  I have an orang county chopper limited edition spider leek and blur.  Saw them on ebay going for hundreds, which totoally surprised me.  Thanks for the input!
