It seems this survival tool is a collaboration btween SOS survival school and Victorinox... and Outdoorwerks is the only one selling this... and yes it looks like its the only model there... For outdoor survival stuff they probably think that the metal file and phillips aren't that necessary... unnecessary tools means reduction in weight and size...Thats just my guess...

One thing is for sure though and basically reconfirms what we have thought so far, scissors on the liner locks are exactly like those found on the pioneer x.

Nice!! :tu:

The awl seems to be sitting well on the curves, just the part near the pivot touching the liner?

Correct

No wait, not correct. The part around two thirds away from the pivot touches the liner!

Yes. Do those exist in the bigger pin size?

It should be in the wiki.

They call it the OutdoorTool on the website.

So it does have two awls?
That's awl I need to know
If it has it's probably the only SAK that has two awls.

That is an amazing SAK G-Fiddy! Up until now I had absolutely no interest in the 111mm range.

It's awl we could ever want... and more.

More seriously... chap at the shop was helpful and I have two on the way to Australia for total of 24 Euro shipping. Still expensive but not the 60 Euro shipping the website claims!

Sad that there's no Phillips underneath the scissors but it's still awltogether magnificent...

It's the two awls part that aroused your interest, isn't it? Admit it!

You know me so well Fiddy. Here's another two 'beg to differs' (and hopefully poncho and 50ft Trad will chime in with theirs too):

It's only fitting to reply with a double post in a topic about two awls.

Is that a modded SAK, I don't know of any 91mm Cellidor with the inline awl.

The XAVT and XXLT have two awls (inline and backside).

Just reading this thread now.  That's a heck of a good tool that ticks a lot of boxes for what I like in a outdoors SAK. :salute:

Did you guys see they raised the price with 20 CHF (around $20)!  :o

They probably noticed the sudden popularity of this knife!

Glad I got mine for 64 CHF (plus shipping)  ::)

Gee, I guess they will see sales go down then. That's quite expensive.

They should be paying Multitool for all this free publicity!

Glad I ordered mine last week; just takes ages for anything to get to the UK
