I've always wanted to try out one of these twig stoves, and recently bought my first, a Bushbox LF from Bushcraft Essentials.
It is a mid-sized stainless steel folding stove, and can be used with twigs, a Trangia alcohol burner or Esbit fuel tabs.
LF stands for "large foldable" and it fits in size between the tiny Bushbox and the large Bushbox XL. The folding feature is very convenient, as there are almost no separate parts that have to be assembled. Unfold it and insert the two trivets as pot stands, and you are good to go in 5 secs. Build quality is great, it is solid and substantial and will support an impressively heavy pot (10 kg++) without breaking a sweat.
This was me on a lazy Friday afternoon in the backyard boiling about 1 liter of water. Because tea.
Everything ready for action
Standard firestarter: vaseline cotton-ball firesteel and SAK saw
We have lift-off
Stove is easy to get going with a few thin twigs
Some generic hard anodized aluminum pot-set
A lot of fire...
Almost boiling
A happy ending
A brew, of sorts...
Stove is nice and thin when folded
I'm happy with this stove, and can recommend it
