yeah I have the cheap one too. I want a Pulse but for some reason they won't ship me one in California anymore. And I bought one in California and they are still legal. Just not in a few cities maybe that's why they refuse to ship here now.

Knife - Spyderco Native
Multi - LM Charge ALX (or MUT, or Gerber MP600... it varies....)
Watch - Traser type 3 (I have small wrists, there's a limited number of Gents watches that don't annoy me.)
Light is an intrinsically safe pelican LED - https://www.ledtorchshop.com.au/pelican-3315-led-flashlight.html - so if for some reason I need to use a torch inside a hydrogen zeppelin I can, without exploding. So that's handy I guess. (Main selling points are - Uses AA batteries, Light, mostly waterproof, and practically indestructible. I can confirm that it doesn't float though - Lucky it was on and easy to find in the murky water though :D )

Interesting topic.

Multitool  €30-€80. All retail for much higher but bought second hand.

SAK  €2 - €100 fleamarket to newly bought.

Light  €130 Led Lenser F1R

Bag/man purse €100 handmade leather messenger

Wallet - €30 Secrid bought new in store at discount

Pen - €15 Zebra telescopic pen

Watch  €50 - €1000 all sorts of brands and types, got loads.

Phone €0 company property

So basicaly... it can go from a few hundred € today to over 1000 tomorrow...

EDIT: forgot all the other stuff INSIDE the bag
Count in about €50 extra inside.

You guys really carry all that stuff? I have a lot to learn!  You make me feel so naked  I'm not worthy!  :ahhh

On a regular basis I usually have my keys and a small SAK or multi-tool. That's it. (I try to vary which tool on purpose, but have noticed I like the small and medium sized pocket friendly ones).

Sometimes I bring my silly large phone too, and if the activity at hand calls for it a knife.

The cost would be something like:

Keys - €300
SAK or multitool - €20 to €150 or so
Silly large phone - €40
Knife - €10 to €50

Why are your keys more expensive than the test of your edc combined, including your phone?

The car and house keys have these electronic gizmo thingies that allows you start the car, and enter the house without setting off the crazy alarm. Replacing those keys are offensively expensive. (Offensive because I'm sure they charge at least 20 times the actual cost).

As for my phone I tend to loose them (or someone helps me loose them - not sure), so at this point I'm just going with a cheap phone with huge batteries. I have to remember to charge it every other month or so.

Oddly I never think about costs, more on how usefull and reliable the product is,most of my brands I've stick with for over 30yrs 👍

It is not a thread to show off or about bragging, just a mere curiosity experiment as someone might be surprised after realising how much do they tote around every day.
I would have never guessed my EDC was so costly and I had never wondered about that before reading the thread...

Cindy see it as bragging  :D as most posts are about our stuff on MTO  :salute:
