Thanks for the link, I posted a pic there.  Although I do have a handful of multitools and SAKs,  I really just popped in here to say hi to an old friend who happens to be a dog lover.

I don't think I've heard from you since the old KF days in the Cut Up!  How the heck are you?

It's true, I live in Ottawa now, but I'm currently back on the East Coast for work, and guess what?  It's still cold and raining- apparently I haven't missed a thing while I was in Ottawa, enjoying the nice weather...

What's new with you in the last ten years or so?  :D  I rarely hear from any of the old crew except Inky of course.... Cabmadd and Pipedreams apparently decided at one point that they were far too good for us, and I don't know of anyone that has heard from Pete the Lizard.... although he was a member here in the early days too.

Every now and then I think of Inky's post when Cabmadd broke his wrist....

Hey Def! Good to see you, man!  Yeah, I hardly hear from any of those guys. I took a break from the internet for a few years. Got into horses, started playing guitar. I recently got the internet again and decided to track down a few old friends.  I got a beautiful American Bully. I thought of you and Wendall (Bandog) when I got him. He's a really sweet dog. How about you?  Everything good?

I hear from Bandog once in a blue moon these days, usually doggy related.

That's a gorgeous dog you have there man!  You may remember my big white dog Pete, who passed away in '06 and my big fluffy husky Chinook who passed away a few years ago.  This is Daisy, and she's pretty well my everything these days.



She's getting old though, and that's not pleasant.  She's only about 9 years old, but for a dog her size (120ish pounds) that's bordering on ancient.



Still, she's always up for playing and acting silly, and she still does the "Big Girl Bounce" when she gets excited about something and that really makes my day. 

It's great to see you back man- the internet has misplaced a lot of my friends over the years.  When I first saw this thread I kind of held back a bit, like "is this really the Bobert?"  We've had a few folks over the years use similar names to the old crew and I got all excited for nothing....

Oh, I definitely remember Pete, and Bandog's Caleb too. That's why I thought of you guys when I got my boy Frisco. I emailed Bandog, but didn't get a reply. I think lance passed away. We kept in touch every now end then. First couple of emails got no response, then a couple more got bounced.  I searched fro him a few days ago and it lead me to an obituary in Dallas where he lived. The name was right, and he was a few years older than me, so I'm pretty sure it was him.

I've been trying to track down Brian Edington, but no luck there so far.  Glad to see you're doing well and still have a fine dog. Nice place you've got here. Cheers to you!   :cheers:
