A big blade :rofl: ok it is actually a sword...really it is. The edged forum banner does say swords and anything that cuts.

This is a coustomized Katana from HanBon Forge in LanQuan China. From what I can tell they dont assemble your sword till you order a base model from one of thier 2 ebay stores. Then you have the option to message them with customization choices or leave it stock.
 I changed every part on this one except the blade. This is a mono blade, but they do offer laminated and even coustom forged to your specs. The quality seems good for an entrey level sword, though I havent cut with it yet. I am still getting up to speed with a boken. Note I say entry-level in that it is an art form now, and many scoff at what would be perfectly acceptable in a blade of yesteryear. I personally can find nothing wrong though I am sure somone else may have their own standards. I am truly pleased with how it turned out. As I said it is new and I haven't done much with it yet so I left the excessive factory oil on the blade.

Bieng into archery I could think of no better theme for a sword than forest green, flat black and arrow fletchings on the tsuba.
