Mold markings, probably denoting mold number and batch info.
I was making a couple hybrid-scaled SAKs, mixing economy and regular scales when I noticed these markings on the inside of the economy scales. Seems like it would take a long time to hand mark these... what is going on here? A message from the other side? of the Atlantic???This is the top scale of an economy camper from the late 80's or 90s. Anybody got the 411 on this?

I used to work in a fiberglass tub factory back in the 80's and the engineers would mark the molds to identify runs. It was typical to see them get the die maker to use a Dremmel to mark the mold to show updates, versions, issues. This could be quarters of the year, nylon suppliers, even shift.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
