SAKs&Steins
on: July 07, 2017, 06:28:40 PM
Here are a few of my SAKs and Bierkrüge that I received from my uncle while in Germany.   I bet a lot members have some awesome SAKs&Steins to show.

Thought you meant some SAKs with stone scales.

This is pretty cool, too.

Can't compete with that; but in for the party...!

Liner lock Outrider; and the best beer in the world. Poured in a mediocre fashion.

Okay, not a SAK, but a Amefa KL78 DAK  (it was my duty knife!). We had no Vics in those days. But if you wish I can make the same pic but with a Vic DAK  ;)
The Bierkrug is revealing something of my dark past ... >:D

No, Bad Ems is in Rheinland-Pfalz, in the beautiful Westerwald area.
Back in 1979 I stayed a total of 10 weeks at the SNBW in Bad Ems, but I can't remember the details... Somehow there is a correlation between the large amounts of beer in those days and my memory.

Beautiful area!  I lived in Baden Württemberg for a while, in Karlsruhe.  I really miss Germany, and Europe in general. Great Stein, and we'll call that a SAK ;)
