Avoid This Ebay Seller

I purchased a SOG ToolClip from this seller with payment being cleared on the 18/09/2008, no tool & no evidence of shipping. Ignores messages and looks like he has done the same thing too 2 other multitool buyers . I was really looking forward too getting the ToolClip , the Ebay Gods are not on my side recently

Hmmmm. It's unusual to see someone with a feedback score like that suddenly "go bad". He's only had 4 negatives, but 3934 positives, so I'd doubt he's a villain.

Maybe he's ill or something?

Either way Mat - you do seem to be having some crap luck lately, so I hope you get what's rightfully yours.

That sucks

Hopefully its just delayed somewhere along the route. I once had a bunch of stuff from Canada take over three months to arrive, but arrive it did

Often post gets to go some funny routes to reach its destination but in my experience the vast majority does eventually get there.

Actually this seller has 41 negatives and 46 neutral in total. Most of the complaints are that he is slow to ship or doesn't ship at all, and that he doesn't respond to emails.

I really don't like eBay's policy change where the feedback score only reflects the last year. They essentially gave all their bad sellers a perpetual clean slate at the expense of the buyers, and downgraded sellers with years of good feedback.

eBay has really gone down the tubes from what it once was. I am really surprised that they still have no real competition.

As someone without a single negative or neutral in eight years I wasn't too happy with the change either. I suppose eBay saw it as a way to encourage sellers to improve $:-\$

In the late nineties Yahoo UK had a nice auction site that was viable competition to eBay and was my preferred auctioning venue, but alas it was shut down

Now I don't see anyone challenging eBay
